Few months ago me and my “man” came from our first vacation in Dubrovnik with hundreds of wonderful photos and only good words about the place. It’s amazing, it’s beautiful, it’s a dream.

We would talk so much about it, she was anxious to personally see what’s so wonderful that we wouldn’t shut up.

Long story short: we got up in the car (we like to drive, even if it’s almost 800 km) and drove. It was December 30th. In Timisoara the winter was “normal”: -20 degrees (Celsius), freezing cold. Almost all the way through the Serbian mountains was cold too, but, the moment we got “on the other site”, we saw the numbers go up. FAST.

In the morning, our first stop was Kotor Bay in Montenegro. We ALWAYS stop there, it’s an amazing fjord and it would be a pity to not spend some minutes admiring the amazing views. As opposed to Timisoara, where our families didn’t even enjoy getting out because of the cold, in Montenegro it was “spring”, or at least that’s how we felt. Approximately 15 degrees (again Celsius), a huge difference from what was when we left our country.

We had ice on the roads, they had sun and palm trees:
